Tradition!
Hike & Light the Y is one of BYU's oldest traditions. At the start of Homecoming Week, students hike up the side of the mountain at sunset and after the light has faded, they turn on the lights on the big concrete Y embedded in the cliffside. My creative direction for this campaign took a lot of inspiration from National Parks and their iconography/imagery. This is most evident in the main crest, resembling a badge.
